Serving Clients Throughout Oregon
We can consult with you about your divorce, explore various options, provide legal advice and explain the process of various divorce options, including the legal process if your case goes to court. We can also be your consulting attorney during your mediation.
We can prepare the legal documents for you when you have made the decision to represent yourself in your divorce. We can also educate you about the court process and provide you with advice at any stage of your divorce.
If you and your spouse have agreed on the terms of your divorce we can prepare the legal documents. We typically represent and meet with one party to prepare legal documents, such as the Petition for Dissolution of Marriage and Stipulated General Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage (which sets forth your agreement). We will make sure all relevant issues are addressed in the legal documents and help you avoid costly mistakes. We then send the Stipulated General Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage to the other party for their review and signature. Uncontested divorces are streamlined and cost effective.
We can review legal documents you have prepared to make sure all relevant language is in the documents and that there are no mistakes that could impact your rights in the future.
We can represent you as your attorney in a Collaborative Divorce process. In a collaborative divorce, each party has a collaborative attorney and the parties and their attorneys meet together to work out the issues in the divorce, including: custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, and division of property and debts.
We provide mediation services to couples that have made the decision to divorce or separate. As mediator we will be impartial and assist you and your spouse in reaching an agreement on all issues in your divorce case, including custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, and division of property and debts.
