Serving Clients Throughout Oregon

About Us

Jody Meeker is a Family Law Attorney, Divorce and Family Mediator, and Collaborative Law Attorney.

She has practiced law in Oregon for over three decades.

Jody grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She began her collegiate career at Washington State University and while there founded the University’s first Sociology Club. After moving with her husband to Hawaii so he could pursue his Navy career, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Hawaii in 1990. She then returned with her family to the Pacific Northwest, and obtained her law degree from the University of Oregon in 1993 where she was the Co-Chair of her graduating class.

Jody began her law career at a small Albany, Oregon law firm in 1993 and founded her firm Jody Meeker, P.C. in 1998. From 2000 to 2010, in addition to practicing family law, Jody Meeker was an attorney member and administrator of Linn County Juvenile Defense Corporation, a group of attorneys providing indigent juvenile defense services in Linn County.

Jody is a trained mediator and collaborative professional who believes that clients and families have better outcomes when the clients, not courts, have control over the decisions that impact them and their families.

In her free time, Jody enjoys spending time with her family, Beaver sports and getting out into the beautiful Oregon scenery with her dog, Kya.
